Where your wealth sits
A clearer view of how much of your position depends on the operating business continuing to perform.
Structure before signing
How ownership affects tax, asset protection, related party leases and what happens at sale or succession.
How lenders read you
Why business owners are assessed differently to PAYG borrowers, and what a lender actually asks for.
What to prepare early
The documents and decisions to have in order well before a property decision becomes urgent.
What you will leave with
Four things worth knowing before your next move.
Structure, tax and the long view
More than a traditional accounting firm. Lincolns takes the time to understand the people and goals behind the numbers.
- Why business success does not automatically build personal wealth
- Buying business premises compared with continuing to lease
- Ownership structure and how a purchase is funded
- CGT, GST, land tax, debt deductibility and related party leasing
- A high level policy update relevant to business owners
Finance readiness before the deadline
Brokers with deep agribusiness and commercial lending experience, working across a wide panel of lenders.
- Why business owner lending differs from PAYG lending
- How lenders assess taxable income, profit, drawings and cashflow
- How companies, trusts and related entities affect an assessment
- Existing debt, guarantees, ATO arrangements and liabilities
- Using equity and refinancing before you buy
Who it is for
Built for people already running something.
What it is not. Not a first home buyer session, not a product presentation and not a property market forecast. It is a briefing on the questions to work through before a decision is made.

Before you RSVP
Questions people usually ask.
-
No. The session is free and morning tea is provided. Places are limited by room capacity, which is why we ask for an RSVP rather than people turning up on the day.
-
In person in Albany. There is no online option and the session is not being recorded, so questions can be answered openly in the room.
-
The venue is being finalised. Everyone who RSVPs receives the address, parking and arrival details by email well ahead of the day.
-
No. The session provides general information only. Lincolns does not provide financial product or investment advice. Cultivate Finance can discuss lending options with you individually, subject to lender assessment and approval.
-
Yes, and it is usually worthwhile. Please RSVP for each person separately so we have the numbers right for seating and catering.
-
Yes. The session covers ground that sits outside annual compliance work, and brings the lending side of a property decision into the same conversation.
-
Attendees receive the handouts by email, along with a clear next step if they would like a one on one conversation with either firm.
